Feels like ringlets aren't really what I want here. Probably wool dreadlocks to get a more dense "rope" that's can be shaped with a bulbous bottom. Would it be easier to work the shape into either end of a double ended dread or a single dread and turn it around so the part where the loop usually attached is the end instead. Also should I go with pre dyed wool or paint it after?
