hey rich anon! I'm shamelessly gonna say i'm an artist, and in need of money. i know you said you'd give 10k to someone if they pretend to be your friend lol, but if you're actually rich and 10k is throwaway change then I'd love to do heaps of [lolita themed if you'd like] art for you/ of you in exchange for that kind of cashhh. i'm a good artist, and you seem nice, let me prove it to you! i'm just poor as fuck lmao. yep, i asked.

Is that a "no let's keep this thread" answer? No offense, but your response is hardly comprehensible.

No screenshots (and everything's been deleted due to the storm surrounding it), but I follow the person in question on Twitter so I saw it all happening live. They weren't bragging, but instead matter-of-factly telling an interesting part of their college life in the form of a comic and tweets. My memory's fuzzy on the actual contents of the story, but I remember they did assignments for other people for money (not sure if they paid anyone themselves). The actual shady thing was that people were excusing it and saying, "Well, that's just art school and you gotta do what you gotta do to survive." ...I understand their feelings, but they really should have kept it to themselves.

Last thread has gone off the rails big time.

I don't know if I want to dedicate myself to learning Japanese and realize my full weeb potential or if I should go for another language like French or Spanish that would actually help me in real life. I know I can learn more than one, but I don't know which one to prioritize... If I learn Japanese, it seems like it'll be much easier to practice since I can look up raws of manga/anime and practice with other weebs at cons. Spanish I could practice with coworkers (I live in Texas). French I could practice with two of my fluent friends. I just... dunno...

Japanese would only be useful in my hobby, so it doesn't seem like it's worth it. Anyone else wanna weigh in on this?

Dude, you can lose 24+ lbs in three months if you discipline yourself. Some weight loss progress is a million times better than no progress at all.
