excusing the long post now lol

>friend asks for help
>helps pattern prop, cut pieces for her, give very detailed instructions on how to finish the prop & even take her shopping for the right materials
>con rolls up
>let friend stay in room with me and another
>prop is absolute disaster, seams are messy af, basically made us repaint her prop in the hotel room while she did nothing
>she asks if its bad
>we both say yes, she agrees
>has the nerve to mutter "this is what happens when you guys dont help" under breath

>me + another have our stuff very tidy in the room, either in our bag in a corner or using the storage options in the room
>have makeup neat and tidy on counter, leave open bathroom counter and space in storage for friend
>all weekend her stuff is all over the floor
>puts her stuff on my bed
>puts her makeup near mine
>uses my makeup without asking
>leaves spirit gum & other liquids open, uses half a roll of my lace front tape without paying a cent for it
>repeatedly tell her throughout weekend to clean
>never does
>end up having to literally separate my makeup from hers

>come back to room multiple time to find she has 3, 4, 5 strangers in the room at a time
>doesnt ask if they can come, bringing people over at 6, 7am in the morning until late night
>shes in highschool so we're her "guardian" for the con
>shes disappearing until midnight and not telling us where she is
>her guests on my bed and laying on other friend's stuff
>they order takeout and we're leaving so i lecture them on making sure to clean up
>come back to the hotel room hours later to find kfc on the floor and forks/knives in bathroom and on tv stand
>text her that she didnt clean, she blames her friend and says its not her job
>she doesnt offer to clean it and we end up cleaning for her
>she leaves fridge wide open, claims it wouldnt shut, we arrange contents in minutes and it shuts fine

im might just beg her to let me do it because i'd rather her look good than her look bad and have to stay quiet the whole con. I've sewn for her once before and she has a weird (not bad, but still weird) body shape and i can see her struggling hard to get the fit right, let alone with the fabric she has planned.

I'm so happy nothing happened with that, it had some real creeper potential.

I don't even remember if we talked any, but I do remember that he sought us out all three days.

I'm not saying he did anything majorly creepy, but scoping out some super underage girls every day of the con is a little creepy. Also, my parents let us go unsupervised. Just a little cringey.

Some are heat resistant to a point that lets you style them, it's not unreasonable to ask. In my experience if they are fairly matte you can use low heat. No one is talking real hair quality.
