I think tumblr isn't really worth it, I recently cleaned out my follower list and at least half of the blogs I followed were inactive. (especially the Homestuck ones) It was surreal seeing some of them that hadn't reblogged or posted since 2013
Instagram is kind of a shitshow when it comes to cosplay, people seem to be extra picky on who they follow
