Honestly I think it looks like shit 99% of the time. Not because the hair itself is bad, but because it's difficult to style elegantly, especially for newbies. Try to brush and put it into some kind of updo or at least control it somewhat. It looks bad when girls have limp greasy straight hair that is unstyled, Don't just try to stick some bows in there and call it a day, you'll look like a tumbleweed blew through a Claire's.

Pic related is cute and probably do-able. Remember to add something to your forehead so it's not so blank. Like a fascinator or clip-in bangs or something.
