anyone have pictures of poses where hands are not showing (not like gloves but, hands are posed so they are not visible) ?

pic unrelated, although I guess you can't see her hands.

K-on's outfit is one of the few anime schoolgirl outfits that look natural. If you don't wear the wig/style your hair to look like the character, you can probably get away with it. I have that cosplay myself, that the blazer is actually really comfortable and an essential part to my nanchatte outfits.
Even if it seems too much together (I have hair styled similarly to Mio so I feel too obvious with this set), you can easily swap out any of the four components to make new outfits.

It has a similar color scheme to pic related. The easiest way to make that outfit look non-K-on would be to swap out the thin ribbon with a bow or tie.

Previous thread >>8466382

Some new questions to start us off

>What do you think are nanchatte faux pas?
>What makes an outfit not nanchatte to you?
>How do you judge balance in a coord?
>Favourite and worst things in the fashion?

And copypasta from previous thread for discussion:

>What is your favorite style? Are you more kogal or do you fall more along the general preppy route?
> Leg wear? Do you prefer tights, thigh highs, knee length?
> What's better: loafers or will any preppy shoe style work for you?
> Your skirts: plaid or solid? Cardigan or blazer?
> Any certain hairstyles you fall on when you're wearing it?
> Where do you wear it? Is it your uni. wear, con only, daily...?
> And where are your favorite places to shop? Obviously there is bodyline, ebay, thrifting...but do you also wait until things pop up on y!jp auctions to get more authentic things?

I've been in love with cute school uniforms since I was a teen, but now that I'm 22, and having graduated school a few years ago, I'm worried I'm too old to wear them and that it would be weird. I still am in love with the look though. I'm curious what everyone thinks about wearing this stuff once you start getting "older." Is it considered creepy or trying-too-hard? What about girls in Japan, do they stop wearing it after they get out of school, continue to wear it for a year or two after they graduate, or do they keep wearing it even longer than that?
