/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

so I haven't got much time to go out and buy materials for a costume for the coming friday, and I have to be able to carry it in a backpack straight after i leave work as i'll be travelling cross-country to the party (so won't have any time to dress up in between really)

i'm going as the eye of sauron, mainly because it's one of my best friends party's that i'm going to and he's obsessed with LOTR. also it's simple, i can just wear a black t-shirt and jeans and paint my face up with some painted eye-shape cardboard around my head

i was wondering how I could go about doing the spires on either side of the eye - what could i make them out of and i could I fixate them onto my shoulders to last the night?
