English? Sorry to say but for a student of English philology your English is awful. English students in my country are incredibly well-spoken and need to work with a big vocabulary in order to graduate with a passing grade. Where are you from?
Also why do you let your parents do this? My helicopter mother used to do the same because she "knew best" and eventually I started hiding things from her. Try to get a place in a dorm.

Please apply to study elsewhere or abroad. I used to want to study English as well but the degree is a joke and if you don't shill books you wrote to your students or teach privately for peanuts, the only thing you'll be able to do is wipe your ass with the diploma.
Even business is better because with business schools they usually force you to do internships and, at least in my country, you can study law as your masters afterwards or get hired in a bank.
Also air traffic controllers are very few, and you're responsible for s fuckton of people's lives daily. It's a lot of stress and in airports they hire only a handful of people. The odds are against you.

Yeah that's stupid. Americans are trying to push the same shit in my country as well, "I'm born in an Anglo country so I can just waltz in anywhere in the world and they'll BEG me to teach them English! :DDD No matter that I have zero experience with their mother tongue, the problems they might face nor do I know how to actually teach, but hey! Let me in guys, I'm totally qualified! :DDD"
That's why Koreans and Japs have shit English skills.
