Body-positivity is the norm now. Outside of the internet and high school you rarely (and I mean rarely) ever hear skinny people insulting fatties. Fatties and average girls are always the ones openly telling skinny girls to eat a sandwich or that curves are better than bones. You pretty much never hear men saying they prefer skinny women over thicker women, and if they do, a shitstorm always follows. Skinny girls usually defend themselves, but they will claim that fat is beautiful too.

And as I said before, the media and fashion industry will try and convince people that skinny is beautiful, but most regular people in society pretty much think the opposite.
