Eh, 'yes and no' - it may pain you to hear this anon but looks like that whilst fairly sweet, are frequently referred to as' ゴスロリ' in the Japanese lolita bibles, there was/is a bit of grey here too, I'm not saying it's strictly gothic (it's not), but it's not strictly sweet either, the brands you mentioned such as Moite etc were certainly gothic but there was definitely a sort of darker (whilst perhaps not in a 'I shit bats' kinda way) image associated with some of the blackxwhite looks such as >>8158766 Pic related for example, is on a Japanese forum marked as 'ゴスロリ', this isn't due to ignorance, this kinda definition is everywhere. Perhaps the western community has redefined/become stricter with aspects of the fashion, and that has value but it's not the only perspective.
