Thank you so much! And yes, it is quilting! I am absolutely shit at applique of any sort, and I also thought that having vinyl checkerboard stacked on top of another layer of vinyl would look a lot less neat and tidy then actually quilting it so I chose the latter! I am glad you like it!

I didn't choose the Spike Spiegel life style, it chose me. But Spike has always been a dream cosplay of mine that I keep putting off because I have never felt confident in my sewing ability enough to tackle tailoring his jacket. I feel like this year though that might change.
