>staying with a friend who lives a town over
>spend the day in ascending dread, supposed to go to my first meet in a long time with her tomorrow afternoon
>feel ill by midnight, puss out and go home
>literally sitting in a kigurumi drinking tea while my cats watch me play visual novels

What people advise me I should be doing and what I want to actually do are always conflicting. I'm not wired right. I just want to enjoy things alone. Online is fine, but hanging around people in person, even friends and family, for too many consecutive hours wears me down.

My only solace lies in the fact that I won't pass these defective mental genes on.
