/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

I'm planning on cosplaying this gijinka of Killer Queen to match my boyfriend's Kira cosplay (I was gonna do Reimi but uh... That didn't go so well. Had trouble with the commissioner... Cosplay came out awful etc etc no refunds). For the gijinka I noticed her body seems to be a light skin color (or at least it looks like it, I might be color blind if not), unlike the actual character itself.
I don't think I'll be able to find a good enough body suit (not that I really want to with this outfit to be honest) and the amount of body I would have to cover with paint isn't the most... Appealing idea, so could I get away with not having to use body paint? I'm trying to follow this ref as best as I can (it's the only one) and since the skin is human enough for this ref at least, I think it'd be fine.
I'm also trying to decide on what color contacts to use (red, white, or pink).

I don't know what to do about the wig here. I'm not sure which one to get as a base, but mostly I'm not sure if I'll be able to hide my ears.. Any suggestions gulls on what wig to get as a base or how I could hide my ears? I was thinking of taking liberties with it.
