Other anons in the thread have already pointed out how the specific coords have other elements that are sweet instead of gothic, you can read those if that's what you're looking for.

I'm only responding to the idea that Horror Garden *must* be gothic because coffins and bats. Here is another cutesy print with bats and coffins.

There's nothing extreme about it. These are existing prints, I didn't make these up. As for AP, they seem to make it their personal goal to come up with a cuter version of every popular motif out there, whether it's crosses, coffins, bats, chandeliers, books, forests, chocolates, transparent dresses, etc. They would have gotten around to sweet coffins and bats sooner or later.
