Got a month before AFO to try a Vampire Hunter D cosplay, don't have much cosplay experience beyond making a Pyramid Head helmet like a decade ago

Don't know where to begin in terms of finding attire, any ideas? As for make up I can most likely figure out application with tutorials so it's more a "what white face paint or lipstick would you recommend?"
