Yes. I think it's just an issue of there being no definite term for an entire style based around space in Japan; they use the words to describe what they themselves are wearing and not really to identify a fashion that they're fitting their outfits into. That blog post looks like similarly themed Tumblr images collected together, so I think somebody on there probably consulted a Japanese dictionary and came up with a name for the looks they'd been seeing online.

宇宙柄 (uchuugara/"outer space print") nets a lot of results, but then you literally are just getting things with an outer space print, not necessarily, like, alien-inspired or whatever. スペイシー (spacy) and the aforementioned 宇宙人 worked okay to that end but not perfectly. Combine with terms like コーデ (coord), ファッション (fashion), 服 or 洋服 ([you]fuku/"clothes"), etc.
