No offense, Rel, but this is a really impractical and time-consuming way of doing it. I've seen people who have done it this way- it looks bulky and sloppy 99% of the time, and there's no need for that when there's an easier way to do it that looks a thousand times better.

They're sold for about $8 at a lot of drug stores and supermarkets and come in long rolls. They're made to comfortably fit around your limbs without constraining or hurting you, and they have a textured surface that helps it stick together without being impossible to get off. Be sure to get a pair of white knee-high socks first; put those on on top of your culottes and then wrap the self-adhesive bandages up your calves. Boom, you're done and not spending a whole lot of wasted time trying to sew bandage-like leg warmers.
