I get complimented and stopped to talk about my cosplays a lot, but I also have horrible social anxiety and immediately get very nervous no matter who it is that talks to me. Example:
>cosplaying Rawberry from The Gray Garden
>cute Wadanohara cosplayers come up to me
>"you're so adorable I love your cosplay what's your facebook etc etc"
>HAHA THANK YOU VERY MUCH IT WAS NICE MEETING YOU
>sprints away to 3rd floor of convention
