I'm looking to build an underbust corset incl two straps over the shoulders as a harness for multiple spikes that I would like to attach to the back. How do I go about the medium that is going to be attached to the corset and where I can stick the spikes into? I already made a test before (without bones) and I kinda sewed an extra sleeve to the back where I put in a plate of wood with the holes necessary to stick the base spikes in, but I don't really like the idea of it, also this won't be as easy with the bones.

tldr I need some kind of manner to attach a wooden plate to the back of a corset like portrayed.
