Nayrt but you realise lolita is clothing and not a costume and you don't have to be plastered in perfect, flawless cosplay tier makeup, and that it's clothes that regular people wear, right? have you even looked in a jfashion magazine and seen all the girls with mussed, wind-swept hair and imperfect makeup because they are regular humans? have you looked at street snaps before which they are clearly taking inspiration from?

I'm all for critiquing lolita but jfc armchair lolitas complaining that lolitas look like regular people instead of photoshopped-to-hell models like risa and misako all the time is fucking stupid.
