See this was the whole crazy idea I had in my head. Point A being a way to both fasten the hood to my shirt and be a pivot point for the hood. While Point B is me attempting to show that I would like the hood's mouth to maintain a perfect shape at all times.

Okay point A is literally the the pivot point for the hood from my shoulder and would need to have a way to lock into place at the upright position. Point B is Literally me attempting to show that I want the hoods mouth to always be in a certain shape at all times if that makes sense.
