I love your lolita style but I'm curious as why do you paint your face white?


Shironuri: White Face. I’ve been doing it for ages, first time was an atempt to cosplay as Belial from Angel Sanctuary. After so long, I twisted it into several other types of fashion, always keeping the hatter style in mind. Just recently I’ve started wearing lolita; it was one of the things I had wanted to do for quite awhile. I didn’t know there was a name for it until I saw photos of Minori Mon (search the tag “Minori” and you’ll know who I’m referring to). She’s an even bigger inspiration for me to continue doing so…I would love to spend a day with her and do a full on shironuri photoshoot. One of her coords in fact looked almost exactly like me, which was a bit of a shock….I’ll have to reblog that photo…it was from one of the earliest posts I made when I joined tumblr late last year. XD Long explanation is long.
