Want to cosplay the merchant from RE4. Glanced at several thrift stores but no luck finding anything similar to this trench coat thing. I'm not even sure what you'd call it, it looks like a hooded trench coat of some kind, but not even totally sure what I'd search for if I were to find one online.

I see lots of impressive cosplays if you just google "re4 merchant cosplay", but I'm not sure how they made them/how to emulate it.

Where do I find a good coat online to modify for the Merchant? Doesn't necessarily need to have pockets, can always sew them in later. It's surprisingly hard to find a black hooded creep coat on ebay/ali.

Also please give suggestions on what stupid things to put in the pockets. This is not going to be a very serious cosplay.

I have never been a big fan of Halloween and I'd always make half assed costumes at last minute, but this year I want to commit. How easy do you think I could do the Merchant from RE4?
