I'm stumped. I need a large-ish translucent colored dome for my cosplay. I thought I'd use half a beach ball with wire interfacing to give it structural support but I'm having trouble getting that "fully inflated" shape without adding additional wire in visible areas (and even then, the vinyl doesn't quite have that stretch). Any way to stiffen vinyl without ruining the translucency? Or any suggestions on getting a workable dome?
