But no actually um, thank you very much for the compliment! A good deal of the credit for this photo goes to KDoran, who in addition to just taking and editing the photo, was also the one who grabbed the two of us to take a photo together and posed and directed us through the whole thing.

On that note, what do you think is the most crucial part in working with a photographer, /cgl/? I think that one of the most important things that a cosplay photographer brings to the table is the amount of direction that they give, and the more, the better. It doesn't matter how many times I've practiced a pose in the mirror; I'm still not going to know that the last shot knocked my horns slightly askew or that if I extend my arm just a little bit further then it'll better balance out the rest of the photo. I feel that the best photographers are the ones who notice these things and who help to adjust my posing/other details that I haven't noticed.
