I'm actually considering hunting down some artist friend who's got lose pigment (like that pastel thing you use for dolls?) and just covering the white thread in it. It will probably make the dress unwashable with risk of bleeding, which is a steep step for Taobao... But fuck, learning to ignore it seems so darn hard!

My sister backed out of going with me to a con at the last minute and I don't want to back out too, but I don't want to be alone and now I'm thinking of scrapping my cosplays, she was supposed to protect me because she's way taller than me and scary looking, and I've never been to a con alone
