>As a cosplayer that I am

Also yes, you’ll be shunned for cosplaying something retarded like corona. Ebola was also a retarded cosplay.

>Cutoffs are only a thing if you go to a con mainly for degenerate shit (raves, orgies, etc.)
I'm 27 yo and, after being morbidly obese throughout my youth, I'm only just starting to get it together.

One of the things I desire after getting /fit/ is finally going to a con, looking good in a cosplay, finding and flirting with a female cosplayer and the two of us just going at it like rabbits. It's a real fantasy of mine. It's just that I'd be living it out at 30 rather than 20. Give me the truth: are those wild experiences inaccessible to me now? (Pic related, would that be me?) Is the thought of a 30 yo man going to a con to hook up with young women something people find deeply disturbing, even if that man basically has a Chad-like face and body? Is it even okay to go to cons hoping to hook up and playfully flirt with the young women there or would you end up being a hindrance and killing the vibe for everyone? I've only just started taking baby steps out of my ditch and I want to know the full extent of my losses.

So I'm in my mid 30's and giving conventions a try again after not going for years and they have really changed. Last time I went, other than A-Kon this year, was in my late 20's and overall con's were a lot smaller. When I went to A-Kon this year I was amazed at how massive it was compared to the last time, which was in 2011. Con's being smaller and being younger made it easier to relate to other fans but now it seems a lot harder.

So what do the older, 30 and over con goers do? I mean going to a room party with kids half my age doesn't sound fun as well as a huge risk. There are panels but are there other events for older con attendee's?
