I had the "who are you?" problem the whole weekend since I was Phantom Pain Big Boss on Friday so most people don't associate that look with the character yet and then Senketsu on Saturday. Only the fellow Kill la Kill cosplayers seemed to know who I was and they got a good chuckle when I got pictures with them. One group seemed pretty excited to have a Senketsu in the picture.
