Thinking of making pic related for a waterpark cosplay using pool noodles (yes, I know, it's going to end up more of a sphere than a cube but it fits the waterpark theme better) Good idea/bad idea? I'm a bit concerned about how large the noodles are.

Also, any recommendations on what to use to add structure to the noodles? I've heard suggestions of using pvc piping or wire.
