Looks darn good for a first attempt. I prefer the channel method myself. I them between the lining and outer fabric of the bodice. I think it looks cleaner then the zig zag method and allows for more control and easier alteration of you need to change the fit. If you arn't planning on lining the garment you can also make channels for shirring with satin ribbon.

For just starting out her stuff is pretty good. The color combos and trim additions are really on point, do she is really ahead of the game here. My fingers do itch to help her alter her bodice patterns though. She does have plenty of room in the items to be able to alter them in the future when she figure out fit better. It can be a steep learning curve.

Haha yeah I don't have a very dainty face. Rather long with a big jaw and chin. Hard to hide. I take my own photos with a tripod and remote, and I will admit to not being terribly good at it. I am willing and eager for suggestions though. I am pretty talk for a girl but not a giant

I make my items simpler because I wear them casually as everyday peices.

I love vintage fur and have quite a bit of it, most of it given to me. The mink stole with the heads (and claws!) was one of these gifts. I am also not crazy about having body parts attached so I wore it for the witch outfit.
