I'm having a ton of trouble coording this (colorway as pictured) without it coming out too sweet. This is my first gothic piece and while I can tell it has sweet elements I really want to take it in a more goth direction.

My biggest problem is that wearing a black blouse feels to me like it will remove the focus from the interesting bat collar which is a big reason for purchasing, I really want to highlight this. I've looked up others coords but many seem to have chosen to go the black blouse route, is that really my best option?

I was thinking of trying a purple/lavender blouse but most blouses I'm coming across don't seem to be fitting (either too much lace, wrong purple, etc) For legwear I would like to do a purple/black diamond patter but was also thinking of playing up the bat angle with bat tights and headwear but fear that may come off as too costumey?
