It's worth noting that different cultures have very different histories with people coloring their skin to look like different race. No idea how it's in Lithuania where that girl is from, but here in Finland it's a long-standing Christmas tradition for schools, kindergardens, politicians and whoever else feels like it to do a short play which is variation of Star Singers called "Tiernapojat", in which the Wise Men travel to see newborn Jesus and king Herod orders his soldiers to slay all the newborn boys. Yes, it's a popular play in kindergardens.
One of the characters featured in the play is King of Moors, who refuses to bow down to Herod. The person who plays him traditionally has their face painted black. You can probably guess who he is in the pic related.
Again, this play has been going on for ages now, and is broadcasted every Christmas on national television and radio. Different cultures have very different reactions to these things.
