Are those curling wands shaped like bubbles easier to use than the traditional cylindrical ones? I don't have enough natural hair myself to actually style but I make and style a lot of wigs, both human hair and synthetic, and I'm looking to expand my toolset but I don't really understand the point of the weird shaped barrel

How do I contour my face for a ftm cosplay without looking like I rolled in dirt/like a drag king? Like so many attempts at cosplay contouring I've seen look absolutely awful. I don't even wear makeup daily and I feel lost
