Where can I get some paper to use for making patterns?
I've seen people shamed for using gift wrapping paper. I've seen butcher paper suggested but I really haven't found where to find that. TL;DR I'm clueless on what to use and where to go for it.

Huh. I always just kind of thought of him as being a costume perv that cashed in on a nood photo business (I mean, obviously he is... but maybe not as creepy as I thought).
He sounds like a good guy and the stories here seem to reinforce that.
Have any of you had experience with the cosplay deviant models? Do any of you model for them and have been to events? What are some of the fan interactions like?
