Very much this.
I'm a guy, I love cutesy things. I collect pastel vomit plushies, I love window shopping frilly jfash, I do "feminine" things like elaborate skincare, I'm not afraid to wear pink (which used the be considered a masculine color anyway until like the 1930's), and I totally gush out at cute things. All this considered, I'm a guy and never think of myself as a girl.

I just am who I am. When I was a teen I wished I was a girl just because it would be easier to express those sides of myself without getting bullied, but as I grew into an adult unrealized it really doesn't fucking matter. I can do what I want and it doesn't change the fact that I have a fucking Y chromosome and still have my share of "guy" interests as well. I don't define myself by stupid shit like this. I'm not looking for a special snowflake term to label me.

What happened to when teens used to dislike being labeled? When we all realized that we're all unique individuals and as such can't be boxed into catch-all terms like this? Now everyone wants a special spot in the dictionary just for them. Of course I expect time to change and for us to progress, but this feels like such a huge step backwards.
