I think this was the worst one I've experienced, in that I realized *something* was wrong, despite being as dense as a neutron star 90% of the time

>Be me a while back
>Be 22
>Working at a con
>little QT-pie of a girl is following me around all day, in a little self-made adorable cosplay related to mine (Basic rocket grunt, basic female trainer)
>It's cute, but she keeps popping up and is really nice out of nowhere
>Work the entire day, except where I win a shitty raffle ticket prize, which was chosen to be pokemon
>I don't want it too much, give it to little trainer
>Day passes, she leaves, am saddened because was fun showing someone so new the ins and outs
>Work ends
>Friends are still hanging out nearby, wave me over
>one of them smacks me upside the head for apparently not being receptive to the fact the girl was hitting on me or some shit like that
>All of them agree it was incredibly obvious, I noticed nothing
>She was 12
>Friends are mad at me for not paying attention that a 12 year old pokemon trainer hitting on me
Looking back on it it feels extremely strange, uncomfortable and finally get why I sometimes got odd looks that day.
I mean, I'm not a pedophile so yay? But apparently people thought I should have pretended to have been one or something and let her down easy or something? I still don't understand.
