Does anyone have any advice on how to tackle the skirt? I'm torn between trying to be accurate to the model and going with a more ballet costume inspired approach. the big things I'm unsure about are how to do the ruffles, they look like box pleats to me but I'm not sure if that would sit right irl. I'm also not sure about structure. I want to try to use hooping like in an actual tutu but I'm worried that any fabric that would look right would be too heavy to be supported by just that
