So I want to reconstruct this old-school Metamorphose dress to make it more less dated.
What I'm thinking of doing first is taking out the front lacing and putting 3 small white bows made from satin ribbon down the front.
I'm also planning cutting off the bell potion of the sleeve (as it is the most dated aspect of the dress) and putting the lace trim on the edge of the remaining sleeve that's gathered on the mid-arm. I was then going to take the remaining fabric and lace from the bell sleeve and make a headdress of some sort.
