Anon with the terrible, never-healing acne(?) on her neck from the last thread here...

Neither tea tree oil nor a proper antifungal cream worked. The spots are still there, there's even one more now.
Something did come out of one of them the other day, so I slapped hydrocolloid patches on it and the others. Those also seemingly did nothing. The two that have broken open won't seem to heal.
My boyfriend thinks they're probably from chronic stress, but I've noticed swollen lymph nodes in my underarms when the spots are most swollen and tender. At this point I've pretty much resigned myself to hiding in my house until I die of a flesh eating bacteria.

Any idea how to hide these without irritating them more? I've tried to keep my hair up and away from the area and not wear anything like makeup or turtlenecks, but I also don't want to walk around looking like this.

Sometimes I really want to just leave lolita.
Not because of the drama or "negativity" or anything, but rather because my dresses just sit in my fucking closet unused. It feels like such a waste of money.
My comm is kind of spread out, and I am a carless college student, so I can rarely go to meetups. I was really excited for one planned this weekend, but my friend bailed on me, meaning I not only can't go, but I also lost my reservation costs.
I've tried to do the whole "lone lolita" thing, and it just doesn't work for me. I don't enjoy going out for things like tea by myself, and none of my (few) friends would be into doing something like that with me.
With school, too, I hardly have the time to keep up with things like the online community. I feel so out of the loop half the time.

I guess I don't know what to do. I love lolita and the community, but life seems to not want me to be able to enjoy it anymore.
