any suggestions on how to do the spikes on the shield/head piece? I've tried air dry clay but it's too lumpy and I'm currently trying to make them out of paper and then gesso them but idk how well it'll go

It usually switches between whichever league champ is my favourite at the time. im hoping to do leona for anime north, but it will probably prove to be too difficult
