It's my favorite con in the GTA area.

>Great venue, which included in your ticket price you get full access to the Science Center which is awesome.
>Fun, carnival-like aspect, with attractions like jousting and a bouncy castle
>Fun programming like Dick or No Dick, Ramen Eating Contests, a Lightsaber battle, Nerf gun fight, Cosplay Dodgeball, Kigurumi Fight Club, "Pokemon Snap" contest, A real life Dragonball hunt... the list goes on.
>Tons of free crafting workshops, like making buttons and plushies
>The Nerdy Burlesque is always a draw and a really fun show
>Several raves and dances
>Cool performances like fire shows and circus acts
>Prozzak is performing

The biggest draw for me is that its programming is quirky and interactive, unlike at other cons. At Anime North, no panels really ever interest me. At APOP, I'm scheduled back-to-back. There's something to do for everybody.

The only downside of this is that it's not so much a "cosplay" con. Because of all the interactive programming, people opt out of wearing large or uncomfortable cosplays and go for casual versions or kigurumis instead. But all in all, 10/10 would recommend.
