>wearing all white dress costume at convention
>have to walk across a parking lot and connecting bridge to get to convention
>it's raining outside
>have my dress hiked up as high as I can get it
>bare legs for miles, dress is low enough to hide my denim shorts
>feel like I'm flashing everyone as I bolt for the convention building in the wind and rain, no umbrella
>drop dress as soon as I get inside
>trying to wipe rain off my face just to the side of the doors while there's only one or two people coming in
>big group coming in behind me, I scuttle away from the doors as quick as possible to avoid getting wet/dirty
>taking pictures left and right for a few hours
>super happy because there's not a stain on all that white fabric
>go and sit down and gather up my dress so I won't trip
>huge fucking muddy shoe print on the edge of dress
>was there the entire time
