/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

I'm making a Calne Ca cosplay, I want to make her headphones light up like pic related, but I've never implemented lights in a cosplay before.
I'm probably going to put a bike light inside the structure somewhere that I can turn on and off from the outside, make most of the thing out of craft foam and use some kinda translucent blue material for the parts that light up, but I'm not sure if something like that exists that's also sturdy enough to not look like shit?

Or if anyone has a better option, please throw it at me.
