/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

Last couple of cons I went to, I got a bit more self-aware. As far as looks, I fit the stereotype of fat nerdy machild, so I gotta watch what I say and how I look at people (let alone girls). But I still had this feeling of looming doom that someone was gonna think I'm some Lifetime Channel rape-monster if I even so much as said "Hello! Nice costume! Is that such-and-such? May I get a picture?", take a picture, and moved on. Between that and my past rep of being a creepy pedophile try-hard anyway, I just gave up on cons.

Yeah, I was looking for /c/ just now, but hit /cgl/ by mistake, and "Con Creeper" is always a trigger for me.
