I'm fairly sure cgl has a higher concentration of oldfags. In comms and places like rufflechat there's anywhere from hundreds to thousands of lolitas. The vast majority of which don't even know what old school looks like anymore. For obvious reasons they can't have all been there for the livejournal days. That's why it's in the unpopular opinion thread, because like you said it's an unpopular opinion.

Personally I like what I've always liked and dislike what I've always disliked. It's great if other anon's can change their taste depending on what's trendy this year but I can't and won't. It's not a year cut off or anything, I have modern lolita specific things I like and still buy new from some brands. But something like AP chiffon will never be comparable to a coord like this and that's what I like most and the entire reason I got into lolita. If you want an up to date fashion an alt fashion that's been around since the 90s probably isn't for you.

Yeah believe me I know. Even at the "fancy" stores where everything costs 250 for the same made in china shit I see people with stained shirts and headsized tits past someone's belly button with no bra.

I never once disagreed. You said it was ridiculous and super dangerous and expensive and the only possible reason anyone could ever do it is because they want to be a twu~ lolita. Here for example

You're still trying to imply the only reason anyone would ever wear lolita in their house is to be like someone else or be superior. It's fucking clothes not strapping 500 pound weights to your chest or competing in beauty pageants 24/7.
