- Skip the line at Tim Horton's by ordering at the small drive-thru Tim Hortons (which also has a normal counter inside where you can order, just no seating) which is further back in the same parking lot. They have soup and sandwiches at the small one - everything except Cold Stone ice cream.

- If you're coming by public transit, take the GO bus from York Mills or Yorkdale instead of the TTC's 58 bus (which is slow and crowded). If you're catching the GO bus at the con, be aware that you should wave to the GO bus to indicate you're not waiting for the TTC like most people at the stop. (You'll be waiting an extra hour or get stuck taking the TTC if you forget.)

- Dealers room has fairly poor selection at Anime North for a con its size.

- Avoid picking up your ticket on Friday evening if possible. Last year was particularly bad because of some paperwork issue and the hot weather, but it's always a long wait then.
