It's because of where I live I suppose?
Most people around here tan and still use sunblock and they still are really tan so I guess I assumed that the block was to block the harmful UV rays and still tan the skin?
I dunno I've never gone out in the sun enough to think about it too hard.

I still look like a teenager despite being 25 so I don't think I've had too much sun damage thankfully and I'll make sure to always use sun block from now on!
