I've had this happen, too! It's such an unpleasant sensation even without the annoying stranger trying to talk to you afterwards. Just tap me on the shoulder or wave or something ffs, my music's not even loud. Also fun is when the person trying to get my attention just assumes my music must be super loud and starts SCREAMING without even checking if maybe I'd notice them at a more acceptable volume.

That sucks. I wear a lot of IW too and my family keeps referring to it as a costume even if I'm wearing something super normie like pic related with a cardigan. I regret ever showing them that meetup photo because now they seem to view even normal dresses as "anon's Japanese doll costumes that she wears to meet up with the other costume girls".
