People who complain about people in the CoF thread having wrong undertones or nitpick to the umpteenth degree about stuff that looks fine are probably teenage roleplayers or think their coording skills are more superior than they actually are and you can't change my mind.

Every time I think I'm done with sweet and I'm going to sell it all off and start dressing slightly more mature (ie, classic & gothic), I get the biggest nostalgia wave and can't sell a thing. Fucking hell.

What's the worst experience you've had buying/selling something jfash online?

I've been fairly lucky so far, my worst experiences were a girl demanding her dress be with her for a certain date after I'd already posted it and she had refused to pay for express shipping (which would make it come in time).
I also get a few people lowballing me for ridiculous amounts, but that's not terrible. They're just shooting their shot I guess.

None (but I'd like to cosplay lovelive! I tried cosplaying before, I cosplayed SeeU from vocaloid when I was younger, I sewed the whole thing but I didn't have a credit card so I couldn't order a wig, and being an idiot I decided to scrap the whole thing. Such is the idiocy of being a 14 yr old)

Someone to chat to, maybe I'll bump into someone who's in my area, idk, I need someone to go to meetups with anyway haha, I'm currently lonelita. I'm very open to the idea of penpals, I think it's super cute. I don't mind being a shoulder to cry on or a person to vent to, as long as we can talk frills and also be friends, that's cool. Anyone who isn't interested in lolita. If you just cosplay, that's great, but my interest is very limited so I don't think we'll be a particularly good fit. I don't want to send or recieve nudes so that's a nope as well. I don't really gel with super immature people or people who want to create drama, that's not my style. Probably best to say no one too much younger than me, really.

So, I've seen quite a few specials over the years try to argue that certain things they don't approve of make you "less lolita" (swearing, not being super nice, having sex, smoking weed or drinking, being what they consider unattractive, etc) but I have never once seen someone say that you're more or less lolita based on how much you own, except in reference to replica and Bodyline wardrobes. I know that this is partially because telling themselves that they're "more lolita" because they're a ~pure maiden~ is part of how bitter poorfags and people with low self-esteem cope, but I do find it interesting that no one ever says owning 5 pieces makes you less lolita than the girl who owns 50. What do you think, is someone "less" of a lolita to you based on what they own/wear or how they act?

For me, I consider someone more/less lolita depending on their wardrobe, knowledge, and how often they wear it. Calling someone less lolita because they swear/fuck/smoke/drink/etc in their private life is a clear sign of a newfag since it means you're clearly unaware of the "rotten girl" version of lifestyling coined by Takemoto.
