To me it's just a matter of preferring canon because, you know, that's where my interest lie. But I'm going to be honest and say that there are definitely Crossovers I personally would love to do but which probably would be recieved with nothing more than a shrug by most of the fandom. Because, you know, that's not something they're interested in. I like potterstuck but could care way more about Sailor Moon or Madoka AUs.

Also like I said, I prefer interpretations of canon. Fancystuck is much more appealing to me than samuraistuck is and will probably ever be.
